Manual handling

Under the Manual Handling Regulations, 1992 each employer has a duty to assess the risks to staff who lift and carry at work.

 

This half-day course, lasting up to three hours depending on the numbers and tasks involved, satisfies the employers legal obligation under the Regulations if their 'risk assessment' points to a need for training.
